Venture to the Lake Nakuru Lodge in the most densely populated wetlands of Kenya. On your game drive view the large population of flamingos and both the black and white rhino. Day 1 DEPART WASHINGTON D.C.
Depart on a mid-day flight from Washington D.C. Dulles airport, on Ethiopian Airlines non-stop flight to Addis Ababa.

DAY 2   NAIROBI
Early morning arrival into Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for a short lay-over and continued connection for a flight to Nairobi, Kenya. Meet and Greet service with transfer
to the Nairobi Safari Club Hotel. Enjoy the afternoon and evening at leisure.

Day 3 TO MT. KENYA NATIONAL PARK
This morning depart Nairobi and journey north, passing near Thika, which boasts the world's third largest pineapple plantation, and Karatina, with its colourful market. Soon you turn off from the main road and head for the Serena Mountain Lodge ringed by a dense rain forest that comes alive hours before dawn. This is a tree lodge set in a forest glade with a waterhole that attracts all sorts of wildlife during the day and night. The waterhole is floodlit and there is an underground viewing platform. Local game includes elephant, buffalo, rhino, waterbuck and hundreds of bird species. (B, L, D)

Day 4 TO LAKE NAKURU
Travel northwest to Nyahururu, still known as Thomson's Falls for its 237- foot cascade waterfall. Then head south to spectacular Lake Nakuru. After lunch at the Lake Nakuru Lodge enjoy an afternoon game drive into the most densely populated wetlands of Kenya. With a large population of flamingos be on the lookout for both the black and white rhino. The Rothschild giraffe is another highlight as well as a fair share of buffalo, leopard, zebra and lion. Day 5 TO  MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
After an early morning breakfast, drive to Narok town via Mai-Mahiu with a brief rest stop and proceed on to the Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch at Mara Simba Lodge. This afternoon enjoy a game drive into one of the largest and most well known wildlife reserves in Africa. It has an abundance of the “Big Five” wildlife. The lodge overlooks a dramatic bend of the Talek River and enjoy the floodlit area by the river, to enjoy viewing nocturnal species drinking after dark. (B, L, D)

Day 6 MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
Witness the wildlife animals again in the incredible Masai Mara Reserve. The lions, antelopes, elephants and zebras are bound to entertain you. After your morning game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and this afternoon continue on another game drive before returning to the Lodge before sunset. (B, L, D)

Day 7 TO NAIROBI
After breakfast you'll depart the Masai Mara and head across acres of rolling wheat and barley farms to Narok, the district headquarters of this part of Maasailand. From here cross the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley whilst keeping an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle before heading up the rift escarpment. You'll arrive into Kenya's bustling capital in the early afternoon. Once in the city, you will be dropped off at the Nairobi Safari Club Hotel with balance of the day at leisure. There are numerous optional activities in Nairobi for your individual pursuits, ranging from museums, baby elephant orphanage or shopping for Kenyan artifacts. (B)

Day 8 TO USA
Enjoy the morning at leisure before your afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight to Washington D.C. via Addis Ababa.( B )
